Generic version of Garlon herbicide available

The control of aggressive invasive species like tree-of-heaven (ailanthus) is very difficult. Herbicides like glyphosate (Roundup) just do not work that well on root sprouting although they kill the main stem. I was just looking at a Forestry Suppliers flyer and noticed that Garlon 3a and Garlon 4 (active ingredient triclopyr) are now available in a generic form for a lot cheaper (about $60 cheaper for 2.5 gallon container) than the Garlon label. The products are called Element 3A and Element 4 and have the same percentage of Triclopyr as Garlon products. It can be found at:
